Stanford got its first true test of Pac-12 play on Sunday afternoon in the second cross-Bay showdown with Cal.

But thanks to Cameron Brink’s 25-point, 17-rebound outing, the Cardinal pulled out a 60-56 win and maintained its lead atop the highly competitive Pac-12. where everyone but Stanford already has a loss in conference play.

Elsewhere around the country, the other top-three teams also had tough battles on Sunday, with South Carolina only notching a seven-point win at Mississippi State and Ohio State pulling away for a six-point win over Illinois.

While Ohio State held steady at No. 3 as the only team without a loss yet in Big Ten play, the only unbeaten teams left in the Big 12 (Baylor) and ACC (Duke) are flying up my rankings.
