OK, so maybe things weren’t all that gleeful on the set of “Glee.”

Lea Michele, who played diva Rachel Berry on the musical comedy, has been accused by a former co-star of creating a toxic environment during her stint with the show.

Samantha Marie Ware called out Michele on Monday, June 1, after the latter tweeted about the Black Lives Matter movement and the death of George Floyd.

Addressing the tragedy, Michele wrote that it was “not an isolated incident and needs to end.”

Ware, who is black, apparently thought that was awfully ironic coming from Michele, and issued a forceful response:

“LMAO REMEMBER WHEN YOU MADE MY FIRST TELEVISON GIG A LIVING HELL?!?! CAUSE ILL NEVER FORGET,” she wrote.

Ware, who played Jane Hayward for 11 episodes in 2015, went on to write:

“I BELIEVE YOU TOLD EVERYONE THAT IF TOU (sic) HAD THE OPPORTUNITY YOU WOULD ‘S–T IN MY WIG!”

Oooooh. That’s a whole lot worse than getting a slushie thrown in your face.

Ware also said Michele made other “traumatic” microaggressions that made her “question a career in Hollywood.”

Ware’s tweet ignited a flurry of reactions from other minor “Glee” performers. Dabier Snell, who appeared a 2014 episode, also came at with Michele with: “GIRL YOU WOULDNT LET ME SIT AT THE TABLE WITH THE OTHER CAST MEMBERS CAUSE ‘I DIDNT BELONG THERE’ F–K YOU LEA.”

Meanwhile, Alex Newell, who played Unique Adams on the show, commended Ware for speaking out by sharing a GIF of a “RuPaul’s Drag Race” contestant saying, “Get her, Jade!”

“Drag Race” alum Willam Belli quoted Newell’s tweet and added, “Lea treated me so subhuman i left the set of Glee. Pass the (popcorn).”

Perhaps the most intriguing response came from Amber Riley, a main cast member who played Mercedes Jones. Although she did not directly comment on Ware’s allegations, Riley shared three telling GIFs of herself, including one of her sipping tea.

Of course, this isn’t the first hint of divisiveness on the set of “Glee” — or with conflicts involving Michele. In her tell-all memoir, co-star Naya Rivera wrote extensively of her turbulent relationship with Michele. And co-creator Ryan Murphy once admitted in an interview that “there was lots of infighting” on the show.
