The modern twist on a one-ring circus offers two free outdoor performances per day full of music, juggling, aerial delights and more Oct. 22-23 as it presents “Flip*Flop*Fly.”
Directors Eric Ting and Dawn Monique Williams, together with the Oakland Theater Project, put together a fine ensemble of talented performers headed by a commanding James Williams as Lear.
This stage production is evidently almost as extravagant as the 2001 film starring Nicole Kidman in recreating an extraordinary Parisian nightclub where Bohemians and aristocrats rub elbows and more.
