For over a year, Stanford has sat at No. 2 in the AP Poll, and they have been my second-ranked team for the entirety of this season.
But not anymore.
Stanford’s offense has sputtered for a few games, but the struggles finally caught them on Sunday, when the Cardinal lost 55-46 at USC.
Stanford dropped one spot in my poll and only two in the main AP Poll, only three vote points behind LSU. They’re still going to be considered a favorite to reach the Final Four.
But Sunday’s loss — and the offensive struggles — can raise some alarms on The Farm about the season ahead.
Here’s the rest of my poll this week:
- South Carolina
- Ohio State
- Stanford
- LSU
- UConn
- Indiana
- Notre Dame
- Utah
- UCLA
- Virginia Tech
- Oklahoma
- Iowa
- Maryland
- Duke
- Michigan
- Arizona
- North Carolina
- Gonzaga
- Middle Tennessee
- Iowa St
- Illinois
- North Carolina State
- Oregon
- Colorado
- Tennessee
